Description:
5th and 6th Grade Tackle Football
This is an instructional league where players will be able to put on the pads and helmets and get a feel for what tackle football is all about. They will be taught the fundamentals of the game of football. Teams will have a game or practice on Tuesday/Thursday each week. Practices and games will be weeknights from 6-7:15pm. Starting in October, practices will be moved up to 5:30pm - 6:45pm due to sunset. Practice locations will vary from the Annandale Rec Park, or Annandale Middle School or Annandale Elementary school. Games will be played at the Annandale Rec Park or Annandale Middle School with the possibility of games at area schools such as Kimball, Rockford, Litchfield, Etc. Players & talent is distributed equally. Team requests are not always honored.
Students will need:
Mouthguard
Black Football Pants
Cleats (Rubber Spikes)
There will be a mandatory equipment handout/Jersey sizing day. The date is TBD.

Parents are responsible for keeping track of equipment throughout the season. Shoulder pads and helmet will be turned into CE at the end of the season.
